Loughborough can celebrate finally their first win this season after five consecutive losses. The victory is especially important as it came on the road game in Bristol, where they defeated Bristol AF (3-4) 75-64 on Saturday. Erin Caldwell fired 19 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Caitlin Ryan chipped in 19 points. Four Loughborough players scored in double figures. Veronica Iweanya produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 16 rebounds and naturalized Canadian guard Marlee Ball (180-1996, college: Carleton) added 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Loughborough (1-5) left bottom position moving up to tenth place. Bristol AF at the other side keeps the seventh position with four games lost. Loughborough are looking forward to face higher ranked Anglia Ruskin U. (#6) in London in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
